My insurance allows a free cleaning every 6 months, and Dr. Davoudi's hygienist says I am doing an excellent job brushing and flossing and there are "only minor problems" with plaque, etc. In spite of that, I was placed on a 4 month cleaning schedule, which means I have to pay $85 for every other cleaning. When I asked to return to the 6 month schedule, both office workers said the insurance co. wouldn't allow it because it goes against WDG recommendations and I would have to pay $85 for each 6 month visit. This is patently false. I have repeatedly asked WDG to put that in writing and they refuse. So I cancelled my appointments and will not do further business with them.

Staff was nice, that's the only good thing! I had recently moved to california when I went to see Dr. Douvadi because the reviews seemed great. At first I trusted her then all of a sudden the hygienist wanted to give me a deep gum cleaning and Dr. D also gave me an extensive list of work that needed to be done on my teeth (crowns, fillings, etc), I knew this couldn't be correct because I had just went to the dentist 6 mos ago and all was great. I didn't trust it so when I returned to Nebraska to my previous dentist I went in to get a second opinion and she said I didn't need a single thing on that list. I am now skeptical on finding a dentist in California. Woodland will over diagnose you.
